- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆iT WAS A COMPLETE DISASTER TRYING TO CAST MY VOTE LAST EVENING. AS A RESULT OF THE CHAOS WE COULD NOT VOTE. IT WAS A WASTE EVEN GOING TO THE POLLING PLACE IN AMITYVILLE. WE ARRIVED READY TO VOTE TO BE TOLD WE COULD NOT VOTE DEMOCRATIC WE WERE REGISTERED REPUBLICANS. WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN DEMOCRATS IT SEEMS THIS WAS NOT NOTED CORRECTLY. WE WERE THEN GIVEN A FORM TO CHANGE OUR PARTY BUT HAD TO WAIT A HALF HOUR AND THE MAN ASSISTING US WAS CONSTANTLY INTERRUPTED. THERE WERE OTHER VERY UNHAPPY PEOPLE THERE.
